World Bank Sees Bulgaria’s Economy Growing by 1.2% in 2013, 2.1% in 2014

Bulgaria’s economy is seen expanding by 1.2% in 2013 and by 2.1% the following year, the World Bank said in its global economic prospect.
In 2015, the country’s economic growth is expected to accelerate to 3.0%, the lender projected.
In the first quarter of the year Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) grewby 0.4% as compared to the same quarter of the previous year, totalling 16.6 billion levs ($11.1 billion/8.5 billion euro) in current prices,according to data of the country's statistics office said.
The World Bank projects that Bulgaria’s current account deficit will be equivalent to 1.6% of GDP in 2013 and 2014, further widening to 2.5% of GDP in 2015.
