Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said it will launch flights from Bulgaria's capital Sofia to Tel Aviv in Israel on May 14, 2014.
The flights will be operated three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Following the launch of the new flight, Wizz Air will offer 17 destinations in 12 countries from Sofia Airport.
Wizz Air is the third carrier to operate on the Sofia-Tel Aviv route after EL AL and Bulgaria Air.
Wizz Air carried some 790,000 passengers to and from Bulgaria last year and expects to service some 750,000 through the Sofia airport in 2013.
