Wizz Air Posts 18% Y/Y Rise in Jan-Oct Passenger Traffic to/from Bulgaria

Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Wednesday that its passenger traffic to and from Bulgaria rose by an annual 18% to 2.6 million in the January-October period of this year.Wizz Air launched flights from Bulgaria to six new destinations this year - Malaga, Athens, Lisbon, Nice, Vienna and Eilat, the company said in a statement.Currently, Wizz Air operates flights on 43 routes from three airports in Bulgaria - Sofia, Varna and Burgas.
