A wildfire that raged for three days in Sakar mountain, in the southeast of the country, was fully extinguished on Sunday.
The fire turned to ashes some 350 hectares of deciduous forest, shrubs and dry grass, the state-run Bulgarian National Television (BNT) reported. No one has been injured.
More than 400 firefighters and 70 machines from across southern Bulgaria, as well as Bulgarian army units and two military helicopters took part in the fight against the fire,
The fire was started off by a sparkle from a tractor in a field between the municipalities of Topolovgrad and Galabovo. Investigative proceedings have been launched into the case.
