Vratsa Municipality Calls Tender for 24 Mln Euro Water Supply Project

Bulgaria’s northwestern town of Vratsa has invited bids for water mains upgrade worth 47 million levs ($31.4 million/24 million euro), a notice in the EU’s procurement journal indicated.
The scope of the contract includes replacement of 33,300 metres of asbestos cement water mains with iron and polyethylene piping and refurbishment of the network, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The bid bond was set at 460,000 levs.
Bids must be submitted by August 19 and will by opened the same day.
