Vatican Secretary of State on Visit to Bulgaria

Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin is on an official visit to Bulgaria on March 20-21 at the invitation of Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and the Bulgarian Catholic Church.
The visit started on Sunday with a solemn service for the sanctification of the cathedral temple the Dormition of the Mother of God Catholic Apostolic Exarchate in the Bulgarian capital city Sofia.
Later on in the afternoon the Secretary of State of the Vatican visited the monastery of the monastic community Sisters of the Eucharist in Sofia.
On Sunday Cardinal Pietro Parolin also held a holy service at the Cathedral of St Joseph.
On Monday Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will receive Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin at the Council of Ministers.
Cardinal Pietro Parolin will also meet with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, Patriarch Neophyte of Bulgaria and Chief Mufti Mustafa Hadji.
