In October, unemployment was 6.7%, up by 0.2 percentage points from September, said the Employment Agency on Wednesday.
Compared with October 2016, unemployment declined by 1.2 percentage points.
At the end of October, jobless persons totalled 220,172, up by 3.2% from September and down by 14.7% from a year earlier.
According to data of the Employment Agency, 20,456 people found work in October, bringing to 208,260 the number of people who found work between January and October.
As a result of measures promoting employment, 3,727 people were included in subsidized employment schemes.
