The rate of undeclared employment fell to 12.4 pct in 2017, from 13.58 pct in 2016, 16.48 pct in 2015 and 19.17 pct in 2014, official figures showed on Tuesday.
A report by the "Artemis" business plan, based on inspections made by the labour supervision body, showed that a total of 36,683 enterprises were inspected in 2017, of which 14.60 pct employed undeclared workers (5,357), while fines imposed totaled 88,109,944 euro.
