Trains between Sofia, Thessaloniki cancelled

The international trains running between Sofia and Thessaloniki in Greece will no longer be circulating as of Sunday, February 13th.

The decision was made on the part of the Greek railway administration in view of the resuscitation programme for financial stabilization of the sector.

From February 11 to 17 the two international trains Romania, which travel between Bucharest and Thessaloniki via Sofia, will run only between Bucharest and Kulata checkpoint on the Bulgarian-Greek border. After February 17 the two international trains will travel only between the Romanian and Bulgarian capitals.
