Trade between Bulgaria and EU on the Rise

Between January and November 2015 Bulgaria’s total export increased by 5.3% to 21.27 billion euros as compared to the same period in 2014. The import saw a 4.3% increase to 24.06 billion, the National Statistical Institute informs. Bulgaria’s export to the EU rose by 9% and the import from the European Union countries increased with 5.7%, whereas the country’s export to non-EU countries increased insignificantly with 0.4%. The import from non-EU states saw a 5.8% increase.
