Three Bulgarian companies have bought tender documents for the privatisation of the 100% state-owned stake in construction company Montazhi, the country's sell-off agency said.
The potential buyers are Sofia-based civil engineering companies Vodstroy 98 and AT Engineering 2000 and engineering, construction and energy group Enemona [BUL:E4A], the agency said in a statement on Tuesday. Now they have to submit documents to evidence that they fulfill the pre-qualification conditions.
Binding offers have to be submitted by December 27. The deposit guarantee is set at 5.0 million levs ($3.26 million/2.56 million euro).
At the end of August, Bulgaria launched its third attempt to dispose of its 6,000,000 shares in Montazhi, as the previous two tenders failed to draw investor interest.
Montazhi has 12 branches in Bulgaria and a unit in Moscow, as well as real estate with a total built-up area of 383,000 square metres.
