The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria to be part of International Network of Chambers from South Eastern Europe
Tuesday, 10 February 2015
In a time of economic crisis, political uncertainty and international instability, the FEDERATION OF INDUSTRIES IN NORTHERN GREECE (FING) initiated a meeting of chambers from South Eastern Europe,at which was presented the initiative for practical support of internationalisation and expansion of industrial and trade relations between enterprises in Northern Greece and the countries in South Eastern Europe. The meeting took place on February 6 in Thessaloniki. The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria participated actively in it.
With its strategic choice for the creation of a “Network between the industrial chambers of Greek enterprises in South Eastern European countries,” FING once again demonstrates initiative and good will for supporting Greek enterprises and creating new jobs. With the building of a network between FING and the five industrial organisations (from Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania and FYROM), the development of activity for Greek firms and businessmen operating in South Eastern Europe will be helped.
It is expected that the connections between the industrial chambers of the five countries will only deepen further. At first, memorandums for cooperation with the remaining three organisations will be signed. Subsequently, there will be organised regular meetings between the chairmen of the chambers, a joint website, a joint information bulletin will be launched, and a yearbook will be published in order to popularise the activity of the companies that are members of the five chambers.
