Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is meeting with Senator Dick Durbin and later a working breakfast will follow with the Senator and representatives of the Greek-American community.
According to sources, the Greek side is expected to express its pleasure over the support from USA "in a period that Greece is recovering and is on a course of growth".
Meetings with US officials, Greek-American entrepreneurs and Greek-American organisations are included in Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' programme on Sunday.
On Saturday, Tsipras attended a working dinner in Chicago with businessmen and investors where interest in the prospect of investments in Greece was recorded.
