Doverie United Holding closed at 7.58 levs as a total of 44,262 company shares changed hands.
Doverie's gains backed the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGBX40 went up 3.93% to 134.57 points, while the BGTR30 advanced by 2.28% to 676.49 points.
Energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] closed 12% higher at 2.24 levs, lending strong support to the SOFIX, the BGBX40, and the BGTR30.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, rose 0.43% to 165.51 points. The top gainer among members of the index was Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] whose shares increased by 1.40% to 2.89 levs.
Turnover on the BSE's main market rose to 3.3 million levs ($1.8 million/1.7 million euro) from 2.7 million levs on Tuesday.
Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH] was the most traded company on Wednesday. It closed 7.19% higher at 16.40 levs as 92,386 shares changed hands, contributing over 1.5 million levs to the daily trading turnover.
