The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed 0.38% lower at 592.93 points on Tuesday

Eurohold closed at 2.20 levs as 250 shares changed hands.

A 4.88% decline in fertiliser maker Neochim [BUL:NEOH] weighed on the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGBX40 fell 0.33% to 136.90 points, while the BGTR30 erased 0.67% to 682.27 points.

The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only index to close higher on Tuesday. It added 0.44% to 165.76 points, mainly backed by a 2.46% increase in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].

Total turnover on the BSE's main market fell sharply to 1.8 million levs ($1.0 million/920,300 euro) from 6.6 million levs on Monday.

Over 1.1 million levs of Tuesday's turnover was formed by trade in bonds.
