SYRIZA's elections goal is a clear four-year mandate, Prime Minister and party leader Alexis Tsipras said, according to sources, at the political secretariat's meeting on Monday.
Tsipras ruled out the possibility of post-election cooperation with the systemic forces of the old political system.
Giving guidelines for SYRIZA's pre-election campaign, Tsipras stressed the need for a reorganisation in the party and outward-looking action, sources said.
"We need to meet with society's SYRIZA," Tsipras noted and proposed a nationwide body consisting of Central Committee members, prefecture committee members and MPs to decide the election programme.
Tsipras said that the campaign must not be allowed to devolve into a "civil war" of the left and that SYRIZA must highlight a leftist radical governance programmme, in contrast to the neoliberal structure of Europe and the domestic "systemic bloc".
"Our goal is to gain the people's trust, to implement a programme of progressive change for a gradual extrication of the country from supervision and memorandums," he said.
