Svilengrad Calls Bids for Road Repairs Worth Estimated 2.7 Mln Euro

Bulgaria’s southeastern town of Svilengrad has invited bids for road repairs with an indicative cost of 5.3 million levs ($3.6 million/2.7 million euro), a notice in the EU’s procurement journal indicated.
The reconstruction works on roads in the municipality of Svilengrad, located near Bulgaria's border with Greece and Turkey, are financed under EU operational program Rural Development 2007-2013, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The bid bond was set at 50,000 levs.
Bids must be submitted by September 12 and will be opened on September 16.
