State Budget Primary Surplus Skyrocketed to over 7.6 Bln Euro in Jan-Nov 2018

According to the preliminary data available for the execution of the State Budget on a modified cash basis, the State Budget balance for the period of January - November of 2018 presented a surplus of 2,549 million Euro, against a target of a deficit of 1,005 million Euro that has been incorporated for the same period of 2018 in the 2019 Budget introductory report and a deficit of 774 million Euro for the same period of 2017, the finance ministry announced on Friday. The State Budget Primary Balance amounted to a surplus of 7,612 million Euro, against the primary surplus target of 4,071 million Euro and the primary surplus of 4,646 million Euro performed at the same period of the previous year. State Budget net revenues amounted to 47,457 million Euro, showing an overperformance of 745 million Euro or 1.6% against the target of 2019 Budget (that has been incorporated in the Budget introductory report). Ordinary Budget net revenues amounted to 45,602 million Euro, 636 million Euro or 1.4% higher than the target.
