Sozopol Municipality Opens 4.7 Mln Euro Tender for Fishing Harbour Upgrade

The municipality of Sozopol opened a tender for rehabilitation of the fishing harbour of the town of Chernomorets worth an estimated 9.2 million levs ($6.4 million/4.7 million euro), a notice published in the EU’s procurement journal indicated.
The contract includes the building of a fish market and of harbour infrastructure, the notice in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) added.
Works should be preceded by a preliminary underwater archaeological research as the harbour is located in an area with high potential for presence of archaeological sites.
Bids should be sent by November 15.
