Some 22% of Bulgarian Companies to Recruit New Workers in Q3, 8% to Cut Staff - Survey

Some 22% of Bulgarian companies plan to hire new workers in the third quarter, while 8% expect to downsize their staff, a survey by employment agency Manpower indicated.
Most new jobs will open in the hospitality industry and construction, news portal dnevnik.bg reported, quoting the findings of the survey.
Businessmen in Ruse, Varna, Sofia, Plovdiv and Burgas were most optimistic about expanding their staff.
Mining is the only industry sector where the difference between new hirings and job cuts is negative.
A total of 750 employers were polled.
