Sofia Stock Indices Barely Move as Investors Await Earnings Season

Bulgarian Stock Exchange indices ended Thursday's trading session with little to no change, as investors prepare for the approaching April 30 deadline for releasing first quarter non-consolidated earnings.The blue-chip SOFIX index edged down 0.04% to 575.29 points, as lender Central Cooperative Bank suffered most among members, losing 3.21% to 1.51 levs.At the other end of the scale, blue-chip diversified group Doverie United Holding gained most among BSE-listed companies, advancing 2.27% to 2.70 levs.The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, dropped a slim 0.02% to 115.25 points, while the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, ticked up 0.06% to 501.55 points.The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed unchanged at 120.76 points on Thursday.Total trading turnover on the BSE regulated market rose to 428,000 levs ($246,000/219,000 euro) on Thursday from 128,000 levs on Wednesday.
