Sofia Opera Receives Annual Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Institute Award for Cultural Diplomacy

This year's Annual Honorary Award of the Diplomatic Institute with the Minister of Foreign Affairs for a Bulgarian institution goes to the Sofia Opera and Ballet, the institute said Friday. The award goes for popularizing Bulgaria's positive image through the instruments of cultural diplomacy.
The opera and ballet house also receives the award to mark the 125th anniversary of its foundation.
Sofia Opera and Ballet will receive its award on the Day of Bulgarian Diplomatic Service, July 19.
