Sofia Opens 9 Mln Euro Tender for Construction of Waste Disposal Facilities

Bulgaria's capital Sofia said that it has opened an 18.5 million levs tender for construction of waste treatment facilities at the Sadinata site. The contract envisages construction of two cells at the site, Sofia municipality said in a tender notice on Monday. Works must be completed within 730 days. The deadline for submitting offers is October 19. Bids will be ranked based on price, time for completing works and professional competence of personnel. Currently, Sadinata site has two cells with a capacity to cope with 390 000 cu m and 515 000 cu m of waste, respectively.
