Sofia-Kalotina Motorway to be Completed by end-2016

The Sofia-Kalotina motorway, connecting the Bulgarian capital with the Serbian border, is expected to be completed by 2016, regional development minister Daniela Terzieva said.
The 50-kilometre motorway is part of a motorway linking Sofia with the Serbian capital Belgrade through Nis.
Officials from the Bulgarian transport and the regional development ministries will have talks next week in Brussels to seek support for the  construction of motorway under the EU funding mechanism Connecting Europe Facility, Terzieva said.
