Sofia exchange main index drops 1.15% amid red wave in Europe

The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index on Tuesday posted its biggest daily decline since March 20, as its major European peers were all taking losses.The London Stock Exchange FTSE 100 index traded 0.4% lower when the Sofia exchange closed, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange DAX index was 0.7% down, and the Euronext Paris CAC 40 index traded 0.4% lower.The SOFIX closed 1.15% lower at 576.58 points, as diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] plunged 5.58% to 37.2 levs. Total regulated market trading turnover rose to 1.15 million levs ($663,000/588,000 euro) on Tuesday from 669,000 levs on Monday.Around 90% of the turnover on Tuesday was formed by a single deal for 47,643 shares in real estate investor 235 Holdings [BUL:94G], worth just over 1 million levs.(1 euro = 1.95583 levs)
