"As long as the pandemic continues, entertainment places are places of over-transmission of the virus when operating without health protection measures," Minister to the Prime Minister's Office Akis Skertsos said on Sunday.
"We have two options. They will either work with specific health protocols or they will not work at all," he added.
"However, with the universal possibility of access to vaccination, we have finally left behind the horizontal measures of business suspension. So the only way is to apply stricter health protocols in these areas until we build the necessary wall of immunity. Living with the virus means that businesses operate with health protection measures," Skertsos underlined.
The Minister to the Prime Minister's Office said that it is the right of every citizen not to want to be vaccinated, but he cannot endanger the health of others.
Skertsos also urged those who are still thinking about it be vaccinated as soon as possible, especially now that the mutations threaten their health even more. "Let us all enjoy this summer with more security and freedom," he stressed.
