Seven Bulgarian companies sign 7.5 mln euro medical devices deals with local hospital

Seven Bulgarian companies have signed medical devices delivery contracts worth a total of 14.7 million levs ($8.2 million levs/7.5 million levs) with Sofia-based St. Anna hospital, the hospital said on Friday. All contracts were inked on September 25, following a public procurement procedure, the hospital said in a notice. The highest-priced contract, for some 3.6 million levs, was signed with Burgas-based Farkol.Ten bidders submitted offers for each of the seven lots. The public procurement procedure was opened in April and includes a total of 298 lots.Farkol is one of the largest suppliers of medicines, medicinal products and devices in the country, according to information published on its website.
