Security Council discusses fight against corruption

The need for new and adequate anti-corruption policies is one of the topics to be discussed today at the Security Council meeting. Caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev decided to convene the body to discuss important issues, including measures to ensure political stability, as well as the implementation of more effective mechanisms for coordination and interaction between structures in the security sector. An analysis of the current risks and threats to the system of protection of Bulgaria’s national security is also expected.
