Ryanair to Launch Flights from Athens and Thessaloniki‏

Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair said it is launching domestic flights from April in Greece, creating two new bases in Athens and Thessaloniki, the Athens News Agency-Macedonian Press Agency reported.
Ryanair plans to begin six scheduled flights from Athens, flying to Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Chania, Paphos, London and Milan and carrying more than 1.2 million passengers annually, with more than 150 flights on a weekly basis, the news agency said.
The air carrier will creating some 2,800 new jobs.
More specifically, Ryanair will begin four daily flights to Chania, two daily flights to London, two daily flights to Milan, two daily flights to Paphos, two daily flights to Rhodes and 10 daily flights to Thessaloniki.
