Romania, Bulgaria Seen Harvesting Bumper Wheat Crops This Year

Romania and Bulgaria are expected to increase their wheat output this year to 8.27 million tonnes and 5.18 million tonnes, respectively, international grain trader Toepfer said.
"Romania and Bulgaria are again expecting bumper crops that will be ready for harvesting in about five weeks," Toepfer said in a report posted on its website last week.
The very good harvest prospects in northern and southern Europe are the main reason behind recent falls in wheat prices worldwide, the report said.
