Roche Bulgaria signs drug supply deals worth 7.1 mln euro

Roche Bulgaria, a unit of Swiss healthcare company Roche, has signed two drug supply contracts worth a total of 13.8 million levs ($7.9 million/7.1 million euro), public procurement agency data, published on Monday, shows.The larger contract, worth 9.6 million levs, was signed with Burgas-based Complex Oncology Centre, while the other deal, worth 4.2 million levs, was signed with Sofia-based ISUL hospital, according to public procurement agency data.The deal with Complex Oncology Centre was signed on November 19, while the other contract was inked on December 2.Twelve companies tabled bids in the procedure for awarding the larger contract, while the other procedure drew ten bids.Roche Bulgaria's main activities include trade and distribution of pharmaceuticals. The company is also engaged in research and development of new pharmaceutical products.
