Roche Bulgaria, a unit of Swiss healthcare company Roche, has signed an 11.9 million levs ($6.9 million/6.1 million euro) deal for supply of pharmaceutical products to the National Oncology Hospital, the state-owned hospital said. The deal was signed on May 10, the Sofia-based hospital said in a notice on Monday.A total of 16 companies submitted offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.Roche Bulgaria's main activities include trade and distribution of pharmaceuticals. The company is also engaged in research and development of new pharmaceutical products.
