A 23.5-kilometre road section from Blagoevgrad to the Macedonian border has reopened to traffic following a 14.7 million levs ($10.2 million/7.5 million euro) upgrade, the country’s road infrastructure agency said.
The construction works on the Blagoevgrad-Stanke Lisichkovo-Macedonian border road stretch were co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget, the agency said.
