Representatives from All over Europe Meet in Sofia on Tax Issues
Representatives of tax administrations from all over Europe discussed upcoming priorities of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) in Sofia last week. The main contact persons from member states of IOTA gathered in the Bulgarian capital on February 24th and 25th to discuss the achievements of the organization in 2015 and to chart directions for development for 2016-2017.
The event was opened by the Secretary General of the NRA Gabriel Zaburtov. In his speech he assured delegates that the NRA is a constantly evolving institution that seeks to improve its services and be a more reliable international partner. The forum was attended by representatives of the revenue administrations of 39 member states of IOTA.Bulgaria is one of the seven IOTA founding members.
