Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission said that it has asked Bulgarian Private Equity Fund to provide additional documents and information regarding its request for approval of a capital increase prospectus.
The regulator did not provide further details in its statement, published last week.
In June, Bulgarian Private Equity Fund said that it will seek to raise up to 6.9 million levs ($4.2 million/3.5 million euro) in a capital increase via a new share issue. The company plans to offer for subscription 6,578,255 shares at a price of 1.05 levs each.
The capital increase will be considered successful if at least 500,000 shares are subscribed for and paid for.
Bulgarian Private Equity Fund shares last traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange at a price of 1.05 levs.
Last year, the company raised some 4.39 million levs in a capital increase, as 16 investors subscribed for 4,385,503 shares.
