Private-sector deposits in banks in Cyprus rose by 0.5% month-on-month to 34.6 billion euro ($47.90 billion) in March, Reuters reported, quoting ECB data.
In Greece, private-sector deposits rose by 1.0% month-on-month in March.
The deposits in banks in Cyprus are about 32% below their peak of 50.5 billion euro in May 2012.
The data are not seasonally adjusted and differ slightly from national central bank figures. They exclude deposits from central government and banks.
