Prime Minister Opens New Plovdiv-Karlovo Road Section

Boyko Borissov opened a new section of the Plovdiv-Karlovo road. This is the second section of the road connecting Banya with Trakia motorway, finalizing the implementation of the Transit Roads 5, Lot 9, project. It is nearly 14 km long and is worth 4.3 million euro.

Commenting on the fact, Borissov said the repaired sections his government is releasing are worth 15 to 20 million leva each while the thousands of millions for infrastructure declared by the previous government cannot be seen anywhere in the country. He underscored that all companies engaged in Trakia are working actively and that he expected it to be completed in the summer of 2012.

There is a government decision to provide 8 million leva for the reconstruction of a road junction on Plovdiv's "Tsarigradsko Chaussee", the Prime Minister said.
