Prime Minister Borissov Congratulates New Greek Prime Minister Tsipras

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov cabled congratulations to Alexis Tsipras on his taking office as Prime Minister of Greece following the success of his 
SYRIZA Party at the early parliamentary elections on January 25, the Government Information Service said on Tuesday.
"Bulgaria and Greece are friendly and partner States, and their cooperation has strategic dimensions," Borissov wrote. He emphasized that there are numerous untapped opportunities for the promotion of this cooperation, including in the energy field, as well as in the processes in the region of SoutheasternEurope.
"I would like to assure you that in Bulgaria you will always have a sincere friend and a dependable partner," the cable reads. The Prime Minister wishes his counterpart success in his future work.
