Presidents of European Council, EC Congratulate New Bulgarian PM Borissov

European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission (EC) President Jean-Claude Juncker congratulated GERB leader Boyko Borissov on his election as Prime Minister of Bulgaria.
The European Council Friday quoted its President as saying: "On behalf of the European Union, I would like to congratulate Boyko Borissov for being elected for his second term as Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria. I am confident that his continued leadership will help steer Bulgaria through the challenges ahead and that he will equally continue his country's constructive contribution to the European Union. The European Council looks forward to welcoming Prime Minister Borissov at its next meeting."
The GERB party's press centre Saturday quoted the EC President as congratulating Borissov on the new government's confirmation in Parliament on Friday. Jean-Claude Juncker said he expects to work together with Prime Minister Borissov and his cabinet for the development and implementation of the priorities on the common European agenda, the press release reads.
