President Sakellaropoulou receives Defence Min of Cyprus Petrides

The recent developments in the Cyprus issue dominated President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou's meeting with the Defence Minister of Cyprus Charalambos Petrides.
Sakellaropoulou reaffirmed Greece’s firm commitment to the UN's Security Council decisions and to the European acquis "This is the only agreed and engaging framework for the restart the negotiations on Cyprus issue aiming at a solution based on the bizonal, bicommunal federation" stated Sakellaropoulou.
On his part, the Defence Minister of Cyprus thanked the Greek President for Greece full support in the efforts for a viable and operational solution to the Cyprus issue.
