Friday, 07 July 2017
"More investments and joint projects in infrastructure, energy and digitalization in the area between the three seas: the Black Sea, the Adriatic and the Baltic will generate value added for the citizens of Central and Eastern Europe and will make the entire European Union more competitive and purpose-oriented. The sustainable development of our vibrant region depends on our skill to coordinate our policies, to define clearly our common goals and to stand up for them," Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said here on Thursday, quoted by his Press Secretariat, as addressing the 12-nation Three Seas Initiative Summit.
Radev is paying a working visit to Warsaw, July 5-7, his first trip to that destination since taking office.
The Three Seas Initiative involves Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. The US also joined the format this year.
