President Plevneliev Opens Conference on "Doing Business in Bulgaria: Join the Success of Plovdiv & Explore More Destinations"

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev Tuesday opened a two-day conference on "Doing Business in Bulgaria: Join the success of Plovdiv & explore more destinations". The head of State took part in the first discussion panel: "The success story of Plovdiv: a gateway for industrial investment, why should you consider investing there and lessons learned for wannabe investors in Bulgaria."

"Plovdiv is experiencing a revival in front of our eyes. The city has taken its destiny in its own hands, it has forgotten the low self-confidence and is boldly looking ahead," Plevneliev said in his greetings address. "From an average statistical city, in just a few yeas it became a European Capital of Culture, an industrial centre with a vibrant economy, open to the world, a city where past and present meet and join hands," the head of State added.
