Power Distributors Seek Higher Prices as of July 1

All three power distributors operating in Bulgaria have requested from the energy regulator to approve a hike in electricity prices as of July 1, the Bulgarian News Agency, BTA, reported.
Austria's EVN local power distribution unit has applied for an 8.0% increase of the daytime tariff for electricity  and the other two power distributors - Czech companies CEZ and Electro-Pro seek a 13-14%hike of the same tariff, the news agency said, quoting the energy regulator.
The three companies have also proposed that the nighttime tariffs that are double the daytime figure.
