Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage Omilanowska to Visit Bulgaria Thursday

Bulgarian Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov and Poland's Minister of Culture and National Heritage Malgorzata Omilanowska will discuss a draft of a new three-year cooperation programme in culture this Thursday in Sofia, Rashidov's Ministry reported in a Monday press release. The Polish Minister will arrive on a one-day visit to Bulgaria at Rashidov's invitation.
The draft programme, which Rashidov handed to Omilanowska during his visit to Poland this June, aims to deepen bilateral cultural exchange and set specific parameters for bilateral dialogue in the field of culture.
During their meeting, Rashidov and Omilanowska will discuss opportunities for cooperation and establishing direct contacts between the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv and Poland's Wroclaw, as the two cities will be European capitals of culture in 2019 and 2016, respectively.
