Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov conferred here on Wednesday with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Lee Nak-yon, who is paying a three-day official visit to Bulgaria (October 24-26).
The two heads of government had a nearly two-hour-long one-to-one session, followed by plenary talks between the government delegations. Deepening bilateral cooperation in trade, investments in energy and automaking had topped the agenda, the two said after the meeting.
Lee thanked the Bulgarian Government for its support of his country's policy against nuclear and ballistic-missile tests and for its efforts to attract foreign investments. "The tenure of Boyko Borissov's Cabinet has an impact on the attraction of foreign investors, including Korean ones," the guest said.
He specified that he had discussed with his host energy, high technology and automaking.
