PM Mitsotakis joins EU leaders in informal discussion on East Mediterranean

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis took part in an informal video conference of EU leaders held on Thursday at the initiative of President of the European Council Charles Michel.

They reportedly exchanged views on Turkey and the situation in the East Mediterranean, on the basis of conclusions reached in December's European Council meeting, ahead of the March 25-26 European Council meeting.

Attending the meeting were German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa.
