PM Mitsotakis: Development focus on primary sector, but relevant to all Greeks

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with young farmers and representatives of local production bodies at the town of Farsala, central Greece on Monday.

At the meeting in the town's city hall, the premier spoke of a major development leap focused on the primary sector, and of a comprehensive framework of government policy aimed at bringing development for all Greeks.

"This government is judged more by deeds and less by words," he noted.

Mitsotakis briefed farmers about all the repair works carried out against the damages caused by 'Ianos' weather front last winter, and also mentioned the government's initiatives to support farmers and rural communities throughout the country.

An emergency fund of 4.5 million euros was approved for the municipality of Farsala, while another 55 million euros has so far been given to both repair and improve infrastructures damages in the broader region, noted Mitsotakis.
