Prime Ministerand GERB leader Boyko Borissov said on Saturday that "on April 19 Bulgaria starts to drill and extract gas and oil in the Black Sea". In Stara Zagora Borissov attended GERB's Sixth Winter University of Elders. "After 25 years of democracy, Bulgaria will not only mine but export gas," Borissov said, adding that the extraction of oil and gas in the Black Sea is a priority of this country.
The PM said that the compressor facilities of the gas interconnectors with Greece and Turkey will be commissioned soon, which will mean "true diversification and one more source".
Borissov said that the cabinet has achieved economic growth, stable finances, falling unemployment. "The treasury is brimming with money and we are not touching the debt," he said.
