Borisov held talks in Brussels with EU Commissioner Corina Crețu, who is in charge of regional development, and the Commission' Vice President for Budget and Human Resources Kristalina Georgieva.
"We have highways, roads, railways and bridges, and now we are talking about gas highways," the PM told Crețu.
The Romanian commissioner for her part told Borisov that Brussels was ready to provide full support to Sofia to safeguard political stability.
Crețu is now invited to visit Bulgaria in May, when the Maritsa motorway is to be officially opened.
