Personnel, Modernization – Top Priorities for the Security Sector

A sitting of the Consultative Council on National Security headed by the president of republic of Bulgaria heard out reports on the risks and threats to national security, the state national security system structures and bodies , as well as the measures aimed at the guaranteeing the security of the country.
After the discussions President Rumen Radev stated that the participants in the council had agreed that the contemporary security environment was very dynamic and that the upgrading of personnel and modernization projects must be top priorities in the security sector.
